Plant Manager - Automotive Supplier
Marion, OH | $150,000-$180,000 | No Relocation | Local Candidates Only
Fast-paced automotive supplier positioned for growth (new business coming 2027) seeks a Plant Manager to oversee production, maintenance, quality, and materials reporting directly to the VP of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as right hand to VP of Operations
- Own WIP, line balancing, and visual communication (CI-focused role)
- Lead production, maintenance, quality, and materials departments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
- Manage equipment upgrades, CapEx projects, and facility compliance
- Mentor and develop team; build floor buy-in and accountability culture
Requirements:
- 5+ years plant management in fast-paced, mass production manufacturing
- Oversight of 150+ direct and indirect reports
- Multi-facet ops experience (production, quality, maintenance, engineering, materials)
- Non-union workforce experience
- Machine guarding and safety experience
- P&L and budget management
- ERP system experience
- Strong continuous improvement track record
